TOMAK is a ‘doing with’ and not a ‘doing for’ program.

It is designed to work with and through partnership arrangements with the private sector, government and NGOs, enhancing systemic change and sustainability in line with TOMAK’s core thematic areas.

Within the Government of Timor-Leste, our primary partners are the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Forestry, Ministry of Health, the Secretary of State for Equality, and the Municipal Authorities of Baucau, Bobonaro and Viqueque.

Our key NGO partners for community level activities are Catholic Relief Services, Caritas Diocesana de Baucau, and Ra’es Hadomi Timor Oan (RHTO).

We also collaborate with a range of other partners, including organisations of persons with disabilities, women’s rights organisations, as well as private sector businesses.
